Micromax LTE phone leak

Micromax Tegra 4i-powered LTE smartphone press image leaks

Micromax is working on their first LTE smartphone that would be powered by NVDIA’s Tegra 4i processor, according to a Twitter user @LeaksterInc. The user has also leaked the press image of the smartphone that resembles the Wiko Wax smartphone from the French manufacturer Wiko. Micromax was the first Indian OEM to launch Tegra 2-powered smartphoneMicromax A85 back in 2011, but it did not tie-up with NVIDIA after that.
After its partnership with NVIDIA for its Tegra Note, Xolo launched the Xolo LT900, the company’s first LTE smartphone few months back. The upcoming Micromax 4G handset would compete with Xolo. NVIDIA already released a reference phone code-named Phoenix.
Since it resembles Wiko Wax, the specifications are expected to be similar, including a 4.7-inch HD display, 1.7 quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i chip and 60 Core NVIDIA ULP GeForce GPU. It is expected to come with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage with microSD expansion slot and a 2000 mAh battery.
No word on the name of the smartphone or when it would launch. According to Gizbot that spotted the leak, the phone is expected to launch by June.
